Fueled by the ingenuity of Adam Deitch and Borahm Lee, Break Science continues to press the boundaries of sonic exploration with wildly innovative and wholly improvised live performances. The music may take many an unsuspecting turn, but fans can count on one thing for sure – an unforgettable concert.

Today, the duo have shared their remix of a classic Fugees track, Fu-Gee-La. The remix certainly samples the original group of Ms. Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean and Pras Michael, adding in an electronic twist that gives this track a true Break Science feel. Listen in below:

The band posted the track with the following note:

We’ve been sitting on this one for a few years, and wanted to put it out for the fans. When we first started working on this remix we had just left Wyclef and Lauryn Hill’s bands, and we were at the very beginning of BRKSCI, doing our first shows outside of NYC. Thanks to all our fans for the support through our journey and have a safe and happy new year!

Don’t miss Break Science during their late night set tomorrow, immediately following Lettuce’s New Year’s Eve celebration with Turbo Suit and Future Rock at Chicago’s Riviera Theatre. More information about the NYE concert can be found here. Lettuce will also hit the Brooklyn Bowl for two nights on January 1st and 2nd, bringing their fresh brand of funk back to New York for some late-night, post-Phish fun!
