It’s James Casey’s birthday! The saxophonist just finished up a tour with pop star Meghan Trainor, and we just wanted to take a minute to shout out the man himself and wish him a happy birthday. Back in December, we caught up with James for an in-depth interview on his career, and now it’s known that he’ll be re-joining Trey Anastasio Band this Spring for an extensive run of shows, hitting festivals like Wanee Festival, Sweetwater 420 Festival, New Orleans Jazz Festival, Summer Camp, Del Fest, and High Sierra Music Festival. Needless to say, we’ll be seeing lots of James Casey in 2017, and that’s excellent news!
Below, we will celebrate James Casey’s birthday by re-living a few of our favorite musical moments over the years.
