Denver electronic power-trio Evanoff is the musical experience created by Jake Hall, Parker Oberholzer, and JJ Evanoff. The high-energy outfit blends a tasteful mix of classic rock and contemporary dance music to create a genre they call “Dream Rock”. Evanoff has been hard at work fine-tuning their distinct rock-influenced sound and soulfully incorporating it within the ever-growing EDM scene in hopes of bringing rock music back into the spotlight, where they feel it should be.
Today, Live For Live Music is happy to premiere Evanoff’s new track “Aesthetic Arrest”, their first new release in over a year.
According to JJ Evanoff, “We ended up playing ‘Aesthetic Arrest’ at almost every show throughout our national tour this past summer, and over the course of all those performances, the song transformed into something much different than we had anticipated. No matter where we were, ‘Asthetic Arrest’ got the crowd moving more than any other song in our catalogue. This song combines our deep classic rock roots along with the incredible capabilities allowed by contemporary electronic music production. Our shows usually consist of a 50/50 mix of strictly instrumental rock tunes and more electronically driven songs. This song is the perfect balance, and defines the direction we are hoping to take our music–hoping to bring people together from many musical backgrounds.”
