The soulful singer-songwriter Luke Wade just premiered a new music video for his song “On Fire.” The Texas-based singer gained fans nationwide after his appearance on Season 7 of NBC’s The Voice, finishing in the Top 8 with Team Pharrell. Since then, Wade has steadily been gaining a name for himself, joining artists like Rusted Root, Kris Allen, Patti LaBelle, Ingrid Michelson, and more on stage. Another artist and fan who’s been digging Wade’s crooning songs is Mr. Robert Randolph. The two are currently on tour together, hitting the east coast and beyond with their infectious soul music.
Off of Wade’s recent Only Ghosts, “On Fire” has a spacious sound propelled by Wade’s powerful vocals. Wade had this to say about the track: “I wrote this song in a dream, literally. I woke up singing the chorus and realized it was something special. I always want to write and sing things that make me feel something, and as this track started coming together in the studio, I felt something. I made the kind of music that I want to write, sing, and listen to in my car.”
