Fans of RÜFÜS DU SOL have a lot to be excited about, as the Sydney-based group released their new album BLOOM earlier this year, and are gearing up for a big performance at Coachella coming up soon. The Australian music makers continue to delight listeners with their downtempo grooves, pouring soul in every note of their music.
One of the band’s newest tracks, “You Were Right,” was recently given a unique twist by the producer Ki:Theory. He tells us, “Been a fan of RÜFÜS DU SOL since I first heard “Innerbloom.” Of course I jumped at the chance when Foreign Family Collective reached out to me for a remix of their single “You Were Right”. Such a great progression and melody to work with…the vocal stems were silk. My idea was to highlight the alternative/indie rock vibe of the track while maintaining it’s dance roots.”
