Earlier this week, the Colorado BERNFest: A Festival For Bernie Sanders brought a number of incredible Colorado musicians to the Oriental Theater in Denver, CO, for a night of funky music and heartfelt political rallying behind candidate Bernie Sanders. The night started early, leaving plenty of time for musicians to take the stage and show their support throughout the night. Among those keeping the dance party raging were groups like RunniKine, Analog Son and Mama Magnolia, keeping things loose and Sanders fans grooving.
The show also featured a number of local politicians, who spoke passionately about the cause. Headlining the event was an AllStar SuperJam composed of Gabe Mervine (The Motet), Tanya Shylock (Sisters of Soul), Sean Kelly (The Samples), Andy Sheldon (The Samples), and Ashley Niven (TigerParty). Between great music, emphatic speakers and the positive energy of social change, BERNFest was a major success!
