Miami Music Week is just around the corner, and, as usual, top producers from all corners of the globe are converging in South Beach for a week of festivals, pool parties, and showcases. Going through a list of names is pointless – it’s safe to assume your favorites will be down south this week. With so much to do, it’s hard to decide where to spend your time and money, so we’ve put together a list of our top picks throughout the week.

Wednesday March 25th

What: Spinnin’ Sessions Pool Party
Where: Nikki Beach
Why: Dutch label Spinnin’ always has one of the more buzzed about pool parties of the year, bringing in festival headline worthy mystery guests. This year they’re promising three secret headliners in addition to names like Sander Van Doorn and Ummet Ozcan. Afrojack is always a safe bet to show up at these, but other major Spinnin’ names include Martin Garrix, Dmitri Vegas and Like Mike, and Tiesto.

What: Carl Cox and Friends
Where: Delano Beach Club
Why: Carl Cox has been DJing for longer than most people attending Ultra Music Festival have been alive. That doesn’t stop his ‘Carl Cox and Friends’ tent from being one of the most popular spots at the festival every year. For 2015, he’s bringing his Intec  labels mates poolside for a day time party full of house and techno.

What: HARD Miami Night 1
Where: Grand Central
Why: Since Holy Ship first set sail four years ago, HARD events have become a family affair, a meeting place for a huge group of friends to party their faces off all night, like you’ve just met up with your college friends for the first time in a year. So, when you see HARD, you can expect a wild party – and this year’s HARD Miami has a stellar line up including Maya Jane Coles, Tchami, Cashmere, and of course, the HARDfather, Destructo.

What: Armin Van Buuren And Friends
Where: Mansion
Why: Perennial festival headliner Armin Van Buuren makes his only club appearance of the week this year at Mansion, along with friends Jochen Miller, Simon Patterson, and more. There’s a reason why many consider Armin to be the best DJ in the world – he has a knack for coming up with catchy songs and turning them into trance anthems.

Thursday March 26th

What: Dim Mak Beach Party
Where: Nikki Beach
Why: Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak Beach Party has upped their game this year, going all night long with two separate rooms once the party goes inside at 11. This year’s headliner is 3 Are Legend, a very rare collaboration between Aoki and Dmitri Vegas + Like Mike, but the rest of the line up features Dim Mak all stars like the SBCR (Bloody Beetroots), Benny Benassi, Borgore, and Waka Flocka Flame. Plus, as usual, expect secret headliners to show up.

What: All Gone Pete Tong Pool Party
Where: Surfcomber Hotel
Why: Pete Tong may be EDM’s biggest taste maker. All it takes is the BBC Radio 1 DJ to label a song as ‘Essential’ to make a young producer’s career. This year, Pete has brought together a lineup of producers whose music seems perfect for the poolside. Duke Dumont, Thomas Jack, Skream, Hot Since 82, and the legendary duo Deep Dish are all slated to perform along with secret guests.

What: Disclosure’s Wild Life Miami
Where: Soho Studios
Why: This looks like the only showcase for English duo Disclosure after their pool party event couldn’t get the proper permits. They may be one of the few artists in Miami who have a song your mom can sing you. They’ve brought together a solid line up including Dirtybird’s Claude VonStroke and Justin Martin, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, and secret guests TBA.

What: Paradise Miami

Why: Space’s terrace is famed for those super late night throw downs where the crowd raves on watching the sun come up. I can’t think of a better DJ to guide that night than Eric Prydz, whose brining along a bunch of superstars like Claude VonStroke and Joris Voorn for the ride. You can expect an epic, extended set from Prydz at this one.

What: Kaskade Redux
Where: Grand Central
Why: Kaskade is one of the biggest names in dance music, a certified headliner, but for the past year or so, he’s been dropping these special Redux sets that are unlike anything you’ve seen this DJ perform recently. Originally intended only for small club shows, these extended Redux sets are full of deep and melodic house music, that Kaskade himself has said would flop at a festival. If all you know about Kaskade are the hits, check out Redux.

Sunday March 29th

What: BT’s Electronic Opus
Where: Adrienne Arscht Center
Why: Of all the events going on in Miami, this may be the absolute crazies, must-see one of them all. Multi-platinum producer BT has teamed with video game composer Tommy Tallarico to produce his electronic opus – a re-imagining of BT’s biggest hits, performed by a symphonic orchestra in front of a completely 3D-Mapped display. Over $200k was raised for this performance through Kickstarter, and the budget is said to be upwards of $800k. This may be a once in a lifetime experience.

What: Dirtybird Closing Party
Where: Steam
Why: It looks like the famed Dirtybird BBQ didn’t make it to Miami this year, so your main output from these funky dudes from San Francisco will be this closing party at Steam.  The line up is full of b2b sets from the Dirtybird Crew, which may be the perfect way to close out your week.
