Originally planned as an event to celebrate WDST/Radio Woodstock’s 25th anniversary with four bands (Gov’t Mule, MMW, Robert Randolph & The Family Band, and Xavier Rudd), Mountain Jam is now going into its twelfth year and features a stellar, yet diverse lineup of Grammy award winners, jam and funk powerhouses, indie darlings, singer-songwriters, world music acts, and more. Set to take place June 2nd-5th at Hunter Mountain in upstate New York, festival founder Warren Haynes (who has performed at every Mountain Jam), Gary Chetkof, and Radio Woodstock are ready to bring their best festival to date (purchase tickets here).

Outside of the music, there are a lot of activities going on to keep festivalgoers energized. When asked about some ancillary activities, Radio Woodstock’s Drew Frankel commented, “Yoga with Michael Franti, Lettuce Documentary Screening (both of which are presented by L4LM), the Frisbee Golf Tournament, SkyRide, Corey WhiteLight’s Circus of Fire, artist/photographer/dancing workshops, and a number of other activities are all great ways to spend some time outside of the music at Mountain Jam.” Check out the various Mountain Jam activities taking place at the festival here.

Don’t forget, for those without cars or looking for rides, Mountain Jam has a bus service (details) that leaves from various spots in New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts. Grab a few friends and travel on a high-end bus with on-board restrooms and entertainment; stay up-to-the-minute on trip details with the Rally Bus app, then relax and enjoy your ride.
