Organ Freeman brought their special blend of funk, soul, and jam music to the sunny St. Augustine Amphitheater to kick off Fool’s Paradise in fine style last Friday afternoon. While beloved bands like Lettuce and Joe Russo’s Almost Dead were at the top of the bill, there was nothing but gold on the stage all weekend long. The crowd, who had been lingering by the beach, rushed in like the tide as soon as the rising and falling flow of sounds of filled the air.

The trio of guitarist Erik Carlson, drummer Rob Humphreys and organist Trevor Steer have been winning fans with every performance, and rightly so. Seen as a breath of fresh air on the national circuit Organ Freeman has found a unique voice that is finding an eager audience from coast to coast. Playing at the festival seemed to suit them well as they wasted no time getting down to business.

Watch this tight knit band take the crowd on a spectacular sonic journey in the three videos below as Organ Freeman continues their funky rise to glory.

Keep an eye out for Organ Freeman as they tour the country with a mix of headlining and select opening gigs. You’ll be glad you did! And as the folks might say, “Cheers from Fool’s Paradise!”
