If you haven’t heard of Los Colognes yet, you will soon. The Nashville-based indie jam band has slowly been rising the ranks within the jam-band scene—over the summer, the group made its debut at LOCKN’ Festival, and has since been tapped to support Blues Traveler for the group’s extensive fall tour in addition to a string of dates with Hard Working Americans. Back in May, Los Colognes released their third album, The Wave, which was an impressive offering from the band composed of Jay Rutherford (Vocals, Guitar), Aaron Mortenson (Drums, Vocals), Gordon Persha (Bass), Micah Hulscher (Keys), and Chuck Foster (Keys).

The Wave shows Los Colognes at their finest. The album is thoughtful and meticulous crafted, with a feel-good vibe that taps into the group’s innate pop sensibilities. However, while The Wave may be somewhat on the poppier side, with frequent well-placed synth, the album overall stays true to the group’s inherent rock roots. Today, Los Colognes has just released a brand-new forty-three-minute animated video to accompany the entirety of The Wave. The psychedelic music video was directed and animated by Joshua Britt and Neilson Hubbard, and is a must-watch for fans of the group, new and old.

Enjoy the full-length animated video for Los Colognes’ The Wave below. If you’re digging what you hear, you can catch the band on the road with Hard Working Americans this weekend or with Blues Traveler once they set off on their extensive monthlong tour that spans mid-October to mid-November.
