Due out on May 18th, Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds are gearing up for the release of their brand new album, The Weather Below. Fronted by the ever-charming Arleigh Kincheloe, the band’s “Party Fowl” fanbase continues to grow with every passing performance. It’s no surprise, as the group’s music perfectly blends Americana, funk, soul and rock, reeling you in and never letting go.

Sister Sparrow recently debuted the single “Sugar,” and L4LM is proud to debut the brand new lyric video for the tune. We asked Ms. Kincheloe herself to tell us a bit about the track. “I wrote this song with an amazing songwriter named Neffu out in LA. We spent a whole day hanging and writing music, and ‘Sugar’ came out towards the end.”

She continues, saying, “It’s a true story about a first kiss. As the song was coming together, he and I were dancing around the room and having a ball… It was a really fun song to write, and I think that comes out in the music.” It certainly is a fun song… Enjoy!!
