STS9 is in full force on their winter tour, stopping in Denver, CO for a two night throwdown at the Fillmore Auditorium. The band has been in top shape throughout the tour, debuting a cover of David Bowie’s “Fame” early on and even a new original earlier this week. STS9 is getting particularly masterful at working in covers mid-song, and this weekend was no exception.

On night one, the group worked in a cover of Earth, Wind & Fire’s “Let’s Groove” in the middle of “4 Year Puma,” paying tribute to the recently-deceased founder of the band, Maurice White. On night two, the group paid tribute to Bob Marley on his birthday, working in “No Woman No Cry” into their song “From Now On” as the encore of the show.
