EXCLUSIVE: Swift Technique Premieres New Music Video For Latest Single, “Reason To Be”

Swift Technique, Philadelphia’s self-described “fiery funk extravaganza,” is sprinting into their ninth year at full speed. With the powerhouse vocal tandem of Chelsea ViaCava and Nik Greeley backed by the group’s bombastic horns, thunderous bass and drums, and driving guitar and keys, Swift Tech’s live performances are unmatched in energy, musicianship, and pure feel-good fun. PREMIERE: Swift Technique Defines Contemporary Funk With “Lucky Bump” Music Video

In the last year, the nine-piece outfit’s unique blend of funk, soul, rock, and hip-hop, along with their relentless showmanship including more dance moves than you can shake a booty at, has propelled the group into their most successful period to date. The band has already made waves with the release of their single “Lucky Bump” and the Soul Train-style music video that came along with it.

Recently, the band also a second single, “Reason To Be,” off their latest studio effort. Says trombone player Ian Gray, “‘Reason To Be’ is an inspirational soul anthem with vocal performances that will surely uplift your spirit and put a smile on your face. Never getting too far from their roots, the tune also features the band’s signature tight horns and heavy funk-rock riffs.
