New Orleans Jazz Festival is a gumbo pot of all the weird, wacky, wonderful people and elements that make New Orleans so special. Over the past two weekends, hundreds of thousands from all over the world flocked to the epicenter of jazz and funk to experience 10+ days of some of the best music, food, and culture out there. Photographer Sam Shinault captured some of the magical moments of Jazz Fest 2016.

A little rain couldn’t stop these fest-goers!
