Up and comers Tweed continue to impress, as the Northeastern-based jam group is out on the road for a major national tour, playing shows throughout the year and partnering up with groups like Greener Grounds and more. Couple the touring success with the group’s new EP, The Chunky Life, due out in late April, and you have a recipe for greatness. 2016 is going to be big.

The band’s interwoven styles of psychedelic, electronica, funk and rock are much like the fabric from which they take their name. Tweed’s drummer Joe Vela said, “We try to tell a story with every song, and keep a good amount of live performances truly improv. 
Dance parties inspire us, our friends inspire us, nature inspires us, as well as big influences like Philly bands the Disco Biscuits and Lotus, but we’re trying to do something completely new and unique with our music.” Whatever you’re doing, keep up the good work!
