Twiddle is hot off the heels of their latest double-album release, PLUMP Chapters 1 & 2, which saw an official release just over a month ago now. The Vermont-based jam act will be making its way to New York City in July for a special three-night run during the monumental Baker’s Dozen residency at Madison Square Garden from that other Vermont Quartet, Phish. Twiddle’s run coinciding with Phish’s Baker’s Dozen run will take place at Irving Plaza and will begin with a formal headlining show on Thursday, July 20th, which will also double as a pre-party for Phish prior to the group’s first night at MSG. Joining Twiddle on the first night will be fellow Vermonters and synth-pop aficionados Madaila. Following the first pre-party night with Madaila on Thursday, July 20th, Twiddle will return to Irving Plaza for two more nights on Friday, July 21st, and Saturday, July 22nd, each of which serving as a special late-night performance that is sure to keep phans grooving following Phish’s first two Baker’s Dozen performances. To say these are going to be memorable shows is an understatement; Twiddle is sure throw down something fierce each night following Phish’s own shows.

Mihali Savoulidis and company are no strangers to Phish, as the Chairman of the Boards, Page McConnell himself, sat in with the group during Twiddle’s own Tumble Down Festival in the Green Mountain State last summer. McConnell gave his own blessings to the group during the band’s hit song “When It Rains It Pours.” The unexpected sit-in had everyone in attendance in complete awe of what was truly a special moment for the gentlemen of Twiddle, but especially for keyboardist Ryan Dempsey.
