This weekend marks the inaugural Tumble Down Festival. Hosted by Twiddle, the event sees performances from Nahko & Medicine For The People, Turkuaz, Cabinet, Kitchen Dwellers and special guest Holly Bowling, held at the Waterfront Park in Burlington, VT. While the main event runs from July 29-30 at the Park, there are a great number of pre-parties and after-parties to whet your whistle with some great jamming.

WEDNESDAY 7/27 – Mihali SOLO Tumble Down Pre Party at the Green Door Pub in Stratton, VT. Join Mihali Savoulidis for a Tumble Down “Eve Eve” party in beautiful Stratton, VT. Mihali will be giving away a pair of Tumble Down tickets and more! 9pm, FREE!

THURSDAY 7/28 – Tumble Down Pre Party featuring Teddy Midnight and Formula 5. Are you in town a day early for Tumble Down? Head down to the famed Nectar’s to catch an amazing night of music to kick off the epic tweekend. Teddy Midnight and Mister F. 9pm. $7 18+ Tickets.

FRIDAY 7/29 – TUMBLE DOWN. The Burlington Waterfront Gates will open at 4pm, with Montana psychedelic bluegrass band the Kitchen Dwellers beginning at 4:30. Turkuaz, a Brooklyn based funk band, takes the stage at 6pm, followed by two full sets of the host band Twiddle. Holly Bowling, the Phish inspired piano virtuoso will be playing BOTH NIGHTS between the Twiddle sets, so there should be little interruptions during this full night of music. Tickets.

FRIDAY 7/29 (Late Night) Higher Ground – “Kitchen Cabinet” Pennsylvania jam grass rockers Cabinet will be joined by their Montana brethren for a one of a kind bluegrass inspired super jam at Higher Ground in S. Burlington. Higher Ground is just two miles up the hill from the Waterfront Tumble Down location, so plan accordingly. Grab tickets in advance as these afterparties are sure to be jam packed. $10. SATURDAY 7/30 – The White Light Foundation Presents: Wampahoofus Charity Disc Golf Tournament. There are very few spots remaining for this very special charity disc golf event. For only $20 players receive a bagel breakfast, gift bags, and more. The course is located behind CVU High School in Hinesburg, VT, and registration starts at 9am. More info here.

Nahko and Medicine for the People are scheduled for 6pm. Nahko has a beautifully unique sound and incredible message, that again will be followed by two full sets of the host band Twiddle.
