A year ago today Umphrey’s McGee treated their fans in Chattanooga, TN at Track 29 to an exceptionally rare performance of one of their albums, Anchor Drops, in its entirety. The follow up to the previous night’s show in which they played the first two tracks off of their sophomore effort, Local Band Does O.K., UM kicked things off with “Plunger,” “Anchor Drops,” and “In The Kitchen” before Jennifer Hartswick joined in for a duet with Jake Cinninger on “Bullhead City.”

The remainder of the first set held to form with renditions of “Miss Tinkle’s Overture,” “Uncommon” and “JaJunk,” with Hartswick returning to deliver the first performance of Heart’s “Barracuda” with the band since 2010’s Bear Creek Music And Arts Festival. “13 Days” got things going during the second set and proceeded to run through the end of Anchor Drops with “The Pequod.” For good measure, UM threw in a “Triple Wide” > “Cut The Cable” to cap off the second set and a cover of Pink Floyd’s “Breathe” during the encore.
