Femi Kuti & The Positive Force hit Brooklyn Bowl tonight, and we are bursting at the seems with excitement for the afrobeat force to make his way into town. In honor tonight’s show, we thought it’d be fun to take a look back at Femi’s legendary father, Fela Kuti. Fela was a true musical and political visionary, and his impact on modern African music is huge. So, without further adieu, let’s take a look back at the afrobeat master in action.
