Florida-based psychedelic funk-fusion act Displace has been making waves since their formation in 2012. It’s no surprise, really, when you listen to their music. With high energy performances incorporating influences from disco, jazz, and rock, Displace is certainly a band on the rise.

They’ve hit a number of festivals in the Southeast, including AURA Music and Arts Festival, Zach Deputy’s Disc Jam, Blackwater Music and Arts Festival, and, most recently, Suwanee Hulaween. Thanks to the band, we have full-show video from this exceptional performance that immediately followed String Cheese Incident. Tune in below:

When we asked guitarist Sam Dobkin about the show, he simply responded, “The Suwannee delivered the signature magic again. Grateful as always.” You can download the full audio here.

The band has opened for groups like Dumpstaphunk, TAUK, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, The Heavy Pets, Earphunk, and The Malah, just to name a few. Be on the look out for new music and big shows from Displace in 2016!
