The highly anticipated Purple Hatter’s Ball, which takes place on the same grounds as the Bear Creek Festival in the Spirit of the Suwannee Park in Live Oak, FL, is right around the corner. From May 10th-12th, expect beautiful weather in one of the nicest festival sites in the country, as well as some high-energy, funk-driven sets from artists such as Lettuce, The New Mastersounds, Greenhouse Lounge, Quantic, The Malah, DubConscious, and many others. And get yourselves prepared for a Sunday afternoon “Mystery Peformance”, the lineup of which will not be announced until the festival kicks off.
New additions to the festival include Emancipator, Eddie Roberts’ West Coast Sounds, and a very special roster of musicians for Roosevelt Collier & Nigel Hall’s Sunday Gospel Surprise, which will feature Lenesha Randolph (Robert Randolph & The Family Band), Adam Smirnoff (Lettuce), Pete Shand (The New Mastersounds), Jermal Watson (Dirty Dozen Brass Band/West Coast Sounds), and the Shady Horns w/ Ryan Zoidis, Eric Bloom and James Casey.
