The first ever Illumination Music & Arts Festival is taking place one week from today and will feature popular jam bands The Heavy Pets and Future Rock as headliners. The festival, which runs July 11-12 is taking place in Grey County, Ontario and is Ontario’s newest festival.

The festival has on-site camping and looks to “bridge the gaps between funk and electronica, folk and indie-rock, visual arts and music to bring you a two day soul-shakedown party under the Canadian skies.”

Canadian jam band fans will also be enjoying groups like DrFameus, featuring Disco Biscuits drummer Allen Aucoin, After Funk, Chameleon Project, Chartreuse, Loopsy Dazy, and more.

To learn more about the festival, buy tickets, and see the full lineup, head on over to their website here.

Here’s to hoping for good weather, and a successful first year for a promising new jam band festival!
