Fans attending the PETA 35th anniversary gala in Hollywood last night were in for a treat, as Beck made an appearance during Sir Paul McCartney’s performance for two songs: “I’ve Just Seen A Face” and “Drive My Car”. The Beatles standards were naturally met with enthusiasm, as Beck added his own gravelly tone to the classics.

So far no full-length video has surfaced, but here’s a snippet of “I’ve Just Seen A Face”:

The band also busted out the first “Looking For Changes” since 1993 in the middle of their 20-song set. Check out a clip from that song as well:

McCartney was playful about the whole experience, jokingly apologizing on Twitter for not playing “Beck In The USSR”, “Get Beck”, or “Paperbeck Writer”.
