Deadheads don’t come much bigger or taller than NBA legend Bill Walton. The former UCLA and Portland Trail Blazers great has seen more than 850 Grateful Dead and other Dead-inspired projects since his first show back in 1967. When he’s not on tour, Walton finds himself still very much involved in college basketball, as he’s known to call an array of west coast games, often times diving into speeches about the most random of topics in only a way that Bill Walton knows how.

Last night during his call of the University of California, Berkeley vs. University of Oregon game on ESPN, Walton took time out to present play-by-play man Dave Pasch with both a Fare Thee Well t-shirt and a bottle of air from Santa Clara and Chicago. Take a watch below:
