Back for the first time since 1998, Blues Traveler has announced the return of H.O.R.D.E. in festival form. H.O.R.D.E., or Horizons of Rock Developing Everywhere, started in 1992 as a way for various bands to avoid the club circuit. Blues Traveler initially recruited Widespread Panic, The Samples, the Spin Doctors, the Aquarium Rescue Unit and Phish for the first tour, though dozens participated in the annual tour from 1992-1998.

Now, H.O.R.D.E. is returning as a one-day festival on July 9th at the DTE Energy Music Theater in Clarkston, MI. Blues Traveler, along with 311 and Big Head Todd, will headline the event, which promises further announcements at a later date.

Tickets will go on sale next Friday, May 1st, at 10 AM Eastern.
