Today, legendary singer-songwriter and recent Nobel laureate Bob Dylan announced plans to release a new three-disc compilation album entitled Triplicate on March 31st via Columbia Records. The album will feature 30 brand-new recordings of songs by some of the most lauded and influential songwriters in American music history, split into three thematically-arranged 10-song sequences. Triplicate marks the first triple-length set of Dylan’s illustrious career, and will showcase his artistry as a vocalist, arranger, and bandleader.

To give fans a taste of what’s to come, Dylan has also shared audio of one of the album’s tracks, a country-steeped take on “I Could Have Told You,” written by Carl Sigman and Jimmy Van Heusen and popularized by the great Frank Sinatra. Give it a listen below via BobDylanVEVO:

The new release marks Dylan’s third album of American standards, after 2015’s Shadows in the Night and 2016’s Fallen Angels, both of which were met with critical and commercial acclaim. Triplicate will be simultaneously released in several configurations, including a 3-CD 8-Panel Digipak, a 3-LP vinyl set and a 3-LP Deluxe Vinyl Limited Edition packaged in a numbered case. Triplicate is available for pre-order now on iTunes. All physical products are also available for pre-order in here. You can view the full track list below:
