As previously reported, Bob Weir was scheduled to appear at an exciting event called the Einstein Gala in Toronto, ON, where he served as both a guest speaker and musical performer for the evening. Hosted by Anderson Cooper, Weir’s presence was meant to show the importance of innovation in both arts and science. After a discussion on the subject, Weir performed an acoustic set that featured a number of Grateful Dead classics, as well as a lengthy sit-in from Dan Kanter.
