Bob Weir To Introduce New Signature Guitar Model With An All-Star Performance

The connection between Bob Weir and D’Angelico Guitars will soon take another step further, as the luthier company will soon debut a Bob Weir Signature Series in early 2017. The Bob Weir model guitar will be introduced during the convention for NAMM – the National Association of Music Merchants – where Weir himself will be on hand with an all-star lineup for a private VIP performance.

Weir’s collaborators for this special Bob Weir and Friends set includes Matt Sorum (Guns N’ Roses), Skunk Baxter (The Doobie Brothers), Gene Cornish (The Rascals) and Robert Randolph, with additional special guests to be named later. Set for Friday, January 20th, Weir and co will be performing at the D’Angelico Guitars Booth 212AB for the D’Angelico VIP party. Unfortunately, there are no tickets being sold to this event; it is invitation only.

Either way, we’re still very excited that Weir will have his own guitar line. The guitarist will be present at Los Muertos Con Queso, which will be held from January 25th through the 28th. He’s also performing at the MusicNOW Festival this week, and will be touring this summer with Dead & Company. For more info on the NAMM show, head here.
