Bob Weir & Karl Denson Join Slightly Stoopid For Funky ‘Franklin’s Tower’ [Watch]

In April, Bob Weir hosted a simulcast event at his TRI Studios in San Rafael, CA, with music performed by Slightly Stoopid. Among the many highlights from the live webcast was a reggae-influenced cover of “Purple Rain,” with Weir joining the band on guitar, which you can watch here. The Grateful Dead guitarist also welcomed saxophonist Karl Denson to the recording session for a funky rendition of “Franklin’s Tower.”
