Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway recently visited New York for a few days to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), which operates to eliminate poverty around the world. Our own Bob Weir was tapped to play at the event, and he did so with a solo acoustic performance. The guitarist/vocalist sifted through Grateful Dead originals, along with covers of Robert Johnson and Bob Dylan that are regularly in Weir’s repertoire.
