Get ready, New York — Break Science is coming to Webster Hall! The funky electronic duo will throw down on April 3, along with Liquid Stranger, Chrome Sparks and Marvel Years. Their sets are always a guaranteed rager, so get ready to get down.

Break Science is the brainchild of drummer Adam Deitch (Lettuce/Pretty Lights Live Band) and keyboardist Borahm Lee (Pretty Lights Live Band). The pairing of these two musical masterminds results in a unique fusion of old and new school hip-hop, funk, and jazz with modern day dubstep that is unlike anything else happening in the electronic sphere. Deitch is one of the hardest working and most talented drummers in the game. Combined with Lee’s exceptional keyboard skills and mastery of Ableton Live, the guys are a recipe for funky good times.

Their set on Jam Cruise was absolutely poppin’ and still one of the most talked about highlights. Their festival sets are always highly anticipated due to the dynamic energy that they put forth. Last summer they made the rounds at some of the most premiere festivals, from Bonnaroo to Pemberton to Summer Camp and everything in between, not to mention out of control Jazz Fest late nights.

The guys also recently wrapped up a joint tour with Lettuce in which both bands really vibed off each other and took it to the next level. When asked what it was like having Break Science on board, Jesus (bassist, Lettuce) responded, “That was a major blessing, it just completely adds to our party. Borahm is family, so it was great to be able to bring one more person on to the crew that we really love and have known well for years. We really link with them musically too. I’m a big Break Science supporter and fan, so you’ll see me in the front row of those shows rocking out! So to be able to have that and bring the party vibe even harder was great.” (Read the full interview here).

Here’s a taste of the kind of unique sound Break Science brings to the table:

Liquid Stranger, Chrome Sparks and Marvel Years will throw down hard to get the all-night dance party started properly in the main room. Head into the studio for more psychedelic downtempo beats with Vibe Street and Brightside.
