At last year’s Brooklyn Comes Alive, Break Science’s Adam Deitch and Borahm Lee joined forces with Marc Brownstein and Aron Magner on the Disco Biscuits to for a brand new collaborative project: [Br]eaking [Bi]scuits. The new “supergroup” proved to be a huge success, and went on to book a run of dates earlier this year, including a mini-tour in the Northeast including stops in Syracuse, Washinton, D.C. and, of course, back where it all started in Brooklyn.

As the band prepares for what will likely be their largest performance to date at this weekend’s Electric Forest, Deitch has shared a brand new animated video for their electronic future-funk track “Attack!” featuring dancing green CGI aliens, 70’s art-pop music video clips, a synthesizer-playing cat, and other assorted snippets of space-age psychedelia. You can watch new video for [Br]eaking [Bi]scuits’ “Attack!” below, via the band’s YouTube page:

“It’s an original song I produced for the band with added parts from the #BREAKINGBISCUITS boys,” Deitch tells L4LM. “We have been playing a lot of Daft Punk vibes at the shows and this was my attempt at an original song based on that sound, but a little more fun and funky.” He continues, “My girlfriend Carla and I had so much fun during the process of her making the video. We laughed our faces off at all these funny images we included during the song. She’s an incredibly talented graphic artist and video collage maker and I’m excited for people  (and kids) to see her work!”

Deitch, Lee, Magner, and Brownstein will perform at Electric Forest this weekend in their first-ever major festival set. As Brownstein proclaimed in an interview with Live For Live Music about the project last year, “It’s gonna be the bomb. Deitch is the best. You know anytime youre playing with Deitch, whatever it is, it’s gonna be great. With those dudes, it’s like butter.” Those heading to Sherwood Forest can look forward to some buttery, broken biscuits when the band hits the Jubilee Stage tomorrow night at 10:45pm.
