Perhaps the most hyped music festival in America is Coachella. The annual event expanded to two weekends in April just to meet demand, and still passes are selling like hotcakes. So it’s no wonder that, less than six weeks after the 2015 festival ended, passes for the 2016 edition went on sale and sold out, immediately.

The Best Music From Coachella 2015

The festival, which will be held from April 15-17 and April 22-24, 2016, put festival passes up for sale earlier today. Considering the festival is more of a “you-have-to-be-there” event than it is an actual music festival, it’s no surprise that the passes sold out immediately. They haven’t even announced a single performer yet!

At the time of publication, a mere hour after the initial on-sale, some highly-overpriced luxury passes are still available, but the picking is slim, and the ticket links provided show a hopeless “Standby” waiting screen. You can see for yourself, here.
