Daft Punk may be known for going through long periods of hiding, but last night they made a rare public appearance at the Wall Street Journal’s annual Innovator Awards in New York City.

With the success of their groundbreaking and unique new album released in May, Random Access Memories, it is no surprise that Daft Punk was awarded as this year’s Entertainment Innovator.  The duo also can be seen on the cover of this month’s Wall Street Journal side by side with model Gisele Bundchen, with their trademark masks covering their faces of course. The cover was shot by Terry Richardson, who even captured some shots with Daft Punk’s kids, and who also was recently in the negative spotlight for shooting questionable pictures of Miley Cyrus for his website

We love you Daft Punk, but these random access appearances aren’t enough…We want a tour!
