A broken leg can’t slow Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl down! Prior to their July 4th blowout gig at RFK Stadium — his first return to the stage since taking a spill at a gig in Sweden — Grohl hosted a motorcycle rally in the parking lot of DC Brau. In attendance providing musical entertainment were original Pearl Jam drummer Dave Krusen, Jonny Kaplan, Foo Fighters’ Rami Jafee, and Blind Melon guitarist Christopher Thorn. Dave Grohl got in on the action, joining on for covers of The Rolling Stones’ “Miss You” and Neil Young’s “Cinnamon Girl.”

Later on, the Foo Fighters took the stage at RFK Stadium with Grohl propped up on a glow-in-the-dark throne. The show also featured performances from Buddy Guy, Gary Clark Jr., Heart, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, LL Cool J ft. DJ Z-Trip, and Trouble Funk.
