Speaking to the Washington Post extensively, Dave Grohl made some interesting comments about the new Kurt Cobain documentary Montage of Heck. (Watch the trailer here). The former Nirvana drummer says he’s “terrified” to watch the film, and has only seen about 10 minutes of it.

Elaborating, he says, “All the footage of him as a child, I think that might make me sad, and then the dark stuff at the end I think would bum me out.” He admits that his wife put the documentary on, but Grohl went to bed after watching about 10 minutes.

The interview was mainly centered around the Foo Fighters, including their upcoming 20th anniversary performance at RFK Stadium on July 4th. The date comes just weeks after Grohl broke his leg in Sweden, forcing the band to cancel their headlining performance at Glastonbury. Grohl and the band did confirm that their US dates will remain as scheduled.
