Alt-metal vets Corrosion of Conformity are spearheading a supergroup with an unbelievable all-star lineup for metal fans. A record deal was just struck with Rise Records, according to Rolling Stone. The project will bring together Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl, Slipknot’s Corey Taylor, Lamb of God’s Randy Blythe, former Queens of the Stone Age bassist Nick Oliveri, Clutch’s Neil Fallon, former Dead Kennedys singer Jello Biafra, Fear’s Lee Ving, Off!’s Keith Morris, Prong’s Tommy Victor and many more.

The record was recorded at Grohl’s Studio 606 in California. One member of the band revealed that it will come out in January, though the label has yet to confirm this.

Corrosion of Conformity posted the following video of a recording session to their Facebook in October.
