Dave Matthews Band Debuts New Song

While the details have yet to emerge, saxophonist Jeff Coffin spoke to Punchland about a number of different topics ranging from his solo project to his first-ever performance with the DMB. Of most interest is his quote about the new album, where he says “my year is basically filled with this band and studio work and a new DMB [album] coming out in 2016. We are working hard and having a great time making music together.”

DMB has also hosted a number of impressive guests on tour, including Béla Fleck, Branford Marsalis, Warren Haynes, and more! The band has also debuted four new songs, including “Black and Blue Bird”, “Be Yourself”, “Virginia in the Rain” and “Death on the High Seas”.

Of course, some of us still haven’t gotten over the infamous DMB poop-gate incident of 2004. You can watch a special film about that catastrophe here
