UPDATE: The Deadhead won again! Adding a cool $18,800 to his grand total, self-proclaimed Deadhead Bill Cossen defeated his opponents for a third consecutive Jeopardy! victory. Good luck tomorrow night Bill (even though the episodes are pre-taped…)!
Bill Cossen has dreamt of being on Jeopardy! his whole life, going so far as to call the game show “the ultimate test of trivia knowledge.” Having tried and failed to appear five times in a row, Cossen was finally accepted onto the show, and taped his performance last July. His first episode premiered yesterday, and, after winning tonight, Cossen is currently at a total of $31,801.
As it turns out, Cossen is an avid Grateful Dead enthusiast.

In the short interview, host Alex Trebek asked Cossen about his devotion to the Dead. Cossen explained that his parents were followers of the band, and, when asked, admitted that he has a collection of hundreds of shows. Trebek simply responded, “oh my,” before returning to the game. Watch below:
