Back in May of 2015, a remarkable list of huge names from across the jam, rock, folk, R&B, and bluegrass scenes descended on Columbia, Maryland, for a gigantic tribute performance dubbed Dear Jerry: Celebrating the Music of Jerry Garcia. The tribute took place on May 14th, with the extensive list of musicians paying tribute to the beloved Grateful Dead icon, Jerry Garcia, and his enduring musical and cultural legacy. The twenty-plus performances across the day read like a who’s who of the music scene, with acts like Eric Church, Jimmy Cliff, The Disco Biscuits, Widespread Panic, Peter Frampton, moe., Yonder Mountain String Band, David Grisman, Grace Potter, Allen Toussaint, and more all performing throughout the day. These legendary acts joined the bill with original members of the Grateful Dead and Jerry’s former bandmates—Phil Lesh & Communion, Bob Weir, Bill Kreutzmann’s Billy & The Kids, and Mickey Hart—ensuring the day was an authentic and fitting tribute to Garcia.

Today, the folks behind Dear Jerry have announced that they’ve just dropped a brand-new concert film of their 2015 Jerry Garcia tribute. The film contains projects from the all-star lineup’s takes on beloved Grateful Dead tunes, such as “Touch of Grey,” “Sugaree,” “St. Stephen,” “Friend Of The Devil,” and more. You can watch the trailer for this stellar concert movie below, and purchase the full-length film and its accompanying live album on iTunes, Amazon and the festival’s website.
