Let’s face it – these days, it’s hard to distinguish EDM from MDMA. The drug is so prevalent that overdoses at EDM festivals are practically commonplace, which is a horrifying issue.

A surprising step in the right direction comes from Diplo, along with Yellow Claw, LNY TNZ, and Waka Flocka Flame. Their latest music video, “Techno,” is an artistic portrayal of this unfortunate trend.

The video follows drug trafficking from distributors to night clubs, and stars one college-aged girl who, innocently looking for a good time, takes the drugs and ultimately succumbs to an overdose. This scenario is all too real, and a video from such high profile names in EDM is certainly bound to raise awareness. The “Techno” video reveals a final quote: “Drugs are not worth the risk.”
