For those who attended Catskill Chill in 2015, easily one of the highlights of the entire festival was the pairing of Dopapod and Turkuaz. Billed as “Dopakuaz Plays Studio 54,” the ensemble of 13 musicians came together to gloriously tout the classic disco hits that populated the airwaves of the 1970’s.

Catskill Chill 2015: Incredible Collaborations Put The Fam In ChillFam

After sharing a bunch of videos from the set back in December, the festival/bands have been releasing a number of videos from the powerful performance. Check out a few below:

“Give It To Me Baby”

“A Fifth Of Beethoven”

“Disco Inferno”

“I Feel Love”

Of course, long time fans of the festival are certainly interested to see what happens to Catskill Chill in 2016, since Camp Minglewood in Hancock, NY is no longer a viable option to host. The founder of the festival, Dave Marzollo, discussed rumors of moving to Lake George and more in this recent L4LM interview.

For those of you who want to get down with some Dopapod grooves, don’t miss Chuck Jones and Eli Winderman’s newest creation, DIAMON. Along with members of Kung Fu, Danny Mayer Trio and more, the group will be dropping some sick trip-hop grooves at The Knitting Factory on February 3rd. Tickets and more information about the show can be found here.
