The doctor is in!
So maybe they aren’t licensed doctors, but rock band Dr. Dog has announced an eight-night run in NYC. Dubbed “The Dr. Dog 4×4,” the band will play four nights at The Music Hall of Williamsburg from January 9-12, and four nights at The Bowery Ballroom from January 14-17.
Tickets for the shows will be released via presale tomorrow, September 17th, with the general on-sale this Friday, September 19th at noon. The announcement promises special guests, and a guarantee of incredible music.

Today we unleash part 1.1 of a plan that’s been cookin’ up for some time now: to revisit some of our favorite places to play.
For this mission we’ve zeroed in on New York City and two of the greatest small clubs in the country: The Bowery Ballroom and The Music Hall of Williamsburg to bring you The Dr. Dog 4X4!
This coming January we’re posting up in NYC for 2 weeks to play 4 shows in Manhattan and 4 shows in Brooklyn. Festivities will be at an all time high, possibilities are endless and surprises will abound. Surprise guests? Sure! Astro turf dance floor? Maybe! Our guarantee to you is that these shows will be incredible and we hope you check em out.
Tickets for all 4×4 shows begin at $30. There are a limited number of these $30 tickets for each show and when they’re gone tickets move to $35. We will then sell ONE final ticket 60 seconds before we go onstage for $7,000,000. Tickets go on sale this Friday September 19th at Noon eastern time.
Before the public on sale we’re offering a Dr. Dog Fan Presale at the discounted ticket price of $25. Again, numbers will be limited, so act quickly to get your $25 ticket.
