New wave band Duran Duran has announced that they will be releasing a new album this fall, their first since 2010. The band grew in popularity during the 1980’s MTV era, playing smash hits like “Rio” and “Hungry Like The Wolf.” Now, Duran Duran is back in a whole new way.

Duran Duran signed with Warner Bros Records, and their as-of-yet untitled new album will be released in September. All we know so far is a list of contributors: John Frusciante (RHCP), Nile Rodgers (Chic), Janelle Monae, and Mark Ronson.

This is actually the second time that Rodgers has worked with Duran Duran, as the famed producer collaborated with the band in 1986 on the track “The Wild Boys.” You can listen to that below:

But, of course, what article about Duran Duran would be complete without “Rio?”
