In their first sit-down interview since the tragic events in Paris at the Bataclan when terrorists stormed the theatre and took the lives of 89 concert goers, the Eagles of Death Metal discuss the events of that night with Vice and how they plan to regroup. Co-founder Jesse Hughes notes that the band will continue to play and hopes that they’ll be the first band back when the Bataclan reopens: “I cannot wait to get back to Paris … Our friends went there to see rock ‘n’ roll and died, I’m going to go back there and live.”

The Eagles of Death Metal are also launching a fundraising campaign for the victims, and are spurring other bands to cover their song “I Love You All The Time” so that they can donate the publishing earnings.
