Electronic Music Guide To Coachella

Are you heading to Coachella but secretly wish you were heading to Ultra? Don’t worry, this year the Valley is filled with some of the biggest names – as well as some hidden gems. Each day has at least two headline status acts, and the Sahara Stage is jam-packed with some of the best DJs and producers in electronic music. Whether you want to check out what the all the fuss is about, or you’re an EDM veteran, to make sure you don’t miss anything crazy, we’ve noted some of our favorites with stars. 12:15 – LA Riots – Sahara Stage

– Get here early? You’re in luck, as the Los Angeles based duo LA Riots are a great way to start any party. They’ve made a name for themselves through a series of banging remixes of tracks by artists like Justice, Chromeo, Nero, Tiesto, Weezer, and Laidback Luke.

1:15 – R3hab – Sahara Stage

– Right after, rising Dutch star R3hab takes the stage, bringing his signature band of bouncy Dutch beats to the valley. R3hab is signed to Afrojack’s Wall Recordings and was mentored by the superstar, which resulted in a similar sound that R3hab has ran with and made his own. His track with Afrojack, ‘Prutataaa’, became an instant smash but he more than made a name for himself with the hit ‘The Bottle Song’ and bunch of huge remixes.

2:30 – Breakbot – Sahara Stage

– Breakbot is a prominent part of the French electro funk movement signed to Ed Banger labels, which is also the home to Justice He brings smooth a smooth, soulful sound to the dance floor with a throwback sound. Check out his track ‘Baby I’m Yours’ below.
