Eric Clapton is releasing a double live album Live In San Diego (with Special Guest JJ Cale) next week. Leading up to the release, the guitar-shredding songwriter has released a video with pro-shot footage from the concert, which took place on March 15, 2007 at San Diego’s Ipayone Center.
The video features top-shelf guitarists Derek Trucks and Doyle Bramhall II, and drummer Steve Jordan on an incredible version of the Clapton original, “Tell The Truth”. The concert also featured special guest performances from J. J. Cale and Robert Cray. The live album will be released in full next Friday, September 30th.
