Fans of the jam scene are some of the most rabid and intense followers in the music world. When it comes to jams, nothing makes us happier than when our favorite band goes beyond the structured section of a song into straight, improvisational territory, expanding the breadth of a song well beyond its typical limits. Along with the the Grateful Dead, bands such as the Allman Brothers Band, Phish, and The Disco Biscuits, amongst others, have all played their own roles in the “Evolution of Jam.”

On Friday, May 19, Phish and Disco Biscuits tributes Uncle Ebenezer and Tractorbear will pay their respects at Evolution of Jam Vol. 3 at Brooklyn’s The Hall at MP. Joining them for this version will be Allman Brothers tribute The Allmost Brothers Band, making for a true exploration of jam music’s roots and direct lineage. With a full set from each band, there will be a little something for every jam fan on this evening.

Tickets for the Evolution of Jam Vol. 3 show are currently on-sale and can be purchased here.
