Despite having a broken foot, Florence Welch returned to Coachella this past weekend to kill it with Florence and the Machine. The indie rockers were joined by Father John Misty during their Sunday headlining set for a rendition of “Love Hurts” by the Everly Brothers.
Florence and the Machine Debut New Track
The frontwoman was in good spirits about her injury. “I don’t know if you heard but last weekend we played here and I jumped off the stage and I managed to break my foot,” said Welch to her crowd. “I’ve broken my third metatarsal which is apparently what David Beckham broke before the World Cup, so I’m in good company!”
