If you have ever heard of the Westboro Baptist Church, they are the hate group known for their shameless protests against homosexuality, Jews, Christians, and just about anything else that their lowlife ways don’t agree with. They are also known for conducting anti-gay protests at military funerals; in other words, they are real peaches.
As the group was protesting outside the Foo Fighters show in Kansas City, MO (the group is based out of Topeka), Dave Grohl and his Foo army decided to “Rickroll” the protest by hopping in a pick-up with their own protest signs while blasting Rick Astley‘s “Never Gonna Give You Up.” As the group “rickroll’d” down the street, fans of the Foo Fighters joined in the protest of the protest and drowned out the gay slurs and hate speech that the Westboro douchebags are known for.
